At Rainstorm Solutions, we follow BMP Inspection Standards and report our findings based on the scheduled contract agreed on between our company and the customer. We recommend inspections based on the properties’ needs, whether that is annually, bi-annually, quarterly, monthly etc. Due to heavy bouts of rainfall and low drainage, some locations require inspections to be done weekly as well as after any major storm events. During inspections, we ensure that inlets and outlets are clear of debris, that slopes are up to BMP standards and that all Stormwater devices are operating correctly. Rainstorm Solutions also inspects and maintains many ponds throughout the RDU and ILM area. Regular inspections are important to maintain overgrowth of vegetation, algae control and erosion within pond banks and to ensure that pumps are functioning correctly.
